Scott Henry, Gettysburg Area Middle School, Team 8 Multiple-Grade Social Studies
Heartfelt thanks are extended to the GASD Board of Directors for sending me on this tremendous learning adventure. During the long day of travel to get to Baltimore, Denver and Seattle, I became more and more excited. Breakfasting in Baltimore, lunching in Denver, and dining in Seattle with my newly formed "GASD techies" was a thrilling experience on my 56th birthday. There were even more learning reasons for my excitement during the conference. The fellowship with the speakers, students, vendors, fellow educators, school board members, parents, administrators, and our own G'burg team of teachers and administrators, I shall always treasure. It really was a tremendous experience. I might add that to have this kind of exchange is part of our daily challenge to grow professionally.
How can we continue to give this refreshment of both spirit, resource, and idea bank to as many of our educators as possible? The pictures I was able to take are being card-read from my IPhoto Laptop to this site later.
